Cashless Schools case study

3 weeks

to mobilise a full blended team and begin active work

Month 1

new features shipped and upsell revenue generated

01 · The brief

Cashless Schools, a Canadian EdTech FinTech company, faced technical challenges that put their .NET-based funds-management platform at risk. Bug fixes were taking excessively long and new features were consistently overdue. They needed a partner who could rescue the project, stabilise the codebase, and restore a reliable release cadence.

02 · Our approach

Ideaology committed to being up and running within three weeks — and delivered. Before touching code, the team aligned on commercial goals and product priorities, then mapped the .NET architecture and risk areas. With a blended team of backend and frontend engineers, QA, and a project manager, Ideaology stabilised defects while simultaneously shipping new features.

03 · The outcome

Within the first month, new features hit production and created upsell opportunities across the existing customer base, increasing revenue and improving competitiveness. Customers immediately recognised the change and expanded their implementation of the product and services.

"After a very short period of orientation, the Ideaology team not only understood what we needed, they were able to commit to a schedule that exactly met our needs — and they delivered! We quickly catapulted to a competitive position."
